Nordmann is grateful to have been able to participate in the Missão País (Mission Country) project, together with students from Universidade Nova - Faculdade de Economia - who were in January this year in the village of Barreira - District of Leiria. This project was born in 2003 and has already involved more than 3.000 young people in 60 missions all over the country, representing 59 colleges in Portugal. Its aim is to take university students to a Portuguese village for a week and there meet the specific needs of the village. They visit old people's homes, centres for the disabled, schools and nurseries, and invite the local community to take part in a range of initiatives. Nordmann was able to contribute with some food products and very happy to help with this interesting project.
